Finally finished the trio of canvasses for my 9 year old goddaughter. She chose the characters and the themes of "Dream, Love and Believe" I can't find a photo of the Dream one, it's a Unicorn, it has been deleted off my computer :unsure: Some glare appears cos I used pearls and metallics as well, so shadows etc...don't show too well..

I must say I'm over "cutesy" paintings for now! :D Anyway here are the last two.....

Painted with air and hairy brush in acrylics.

Ha Ha Ha comin out from under the rock of anonimity lol.............mind you it's a bit bright, shoulda stayed in the shadow.........had to keep the flag though hee hee

Great work Scorp. I'm lucky that my 2 girls are not very girly so I haven't had any "Cutesy" requests yet, I have had requests for motivational type wording and or pictures but they usually involve someone doing a head kick or the splits or something similar. I think I would have liked to paint my girls something "pretty" when they were little but I couln't paint then, now they are 10 and 12 I would get beaten if I painted something cute:sword4ev3:

Bandit - Thanks for your comment...my goddaughter is truly a girly girl, diva, princess!!! She has an attitude to match!! But I love her to death....

Norm - Thanks... Her mum has seen them and she cried, as usual!! I hate it when they cry, but I guess it's the biggest compliment an artist can receive :D

Bob - Thankyou...They will look great on her wall...it is a very dark but bright purple, (hence the bright colours i painted in) and the metallics will shimmer in the light her window throws. In fact her whole room shimmers!!! Her room is like a fairy grotto :)

Ha Ha Ha, don't you just love the little attitudes :) It always amaizes me at how such a small person can have such individual personality and attitude. I'm sure she will love the pictures you will have to let us know her reaction when you give them too her.
