Hi everyone. I'm new to this site and also new to painting. As a matter of fact this is the first thing I ever painted. I decided to rip apart my bike again because the second question everyone asked me was "who did the paint?" Well, when the bike was black and chrome I couldn't say "I did" so that's why I decided to give it a try. What an experience! I absolutely love it. I made allot of mistakes and corrected them the best I could along the way but some will still be there. But to your average Joe or Mary, they won't notice. I'll know and that's going bother me but I need to ride and it's getting warmer. It will keep this paint job for a year or two and then I'll do it over. Here's a couple of pics of the before and present. I'll be clearing and pinstriping the tins the next few days and hopefully everything will go as planned. Some of the pics are not the best because they were taken with a camera phone.

Nice Job! For your first paint, you did very well. Even the drop shadows are right on!

Keep up the good work! You should be very proud of that job (nice ride BTW!)

Thank you! Hopefully this will be the first of many. As far as the nice ride comment...the wife doesn't think so. She doesn't like to go for rides because she says she feels like she's giving birth. I had to mount the footpegs higher due to the swingarm and she says their more like stirrups than footpegs and her butt goes numb. lol.
