hi guys, im interested in some of the work that i see done on bristol paper or illustration boards, and they say they use "smoke gray or black" whatever color it is, so i went and purchased some goldens, since i recently switched to this product and really like the colors, but the colors i was using was already a fluid "liquid" and the colors i wanted was in tubes and the man told me to purchase the goldens medium, so i did, do i mix this stuff to turn these tubes into liquid or do i use water? is this right? thanks

Ok this is how it goes.
Golden Fluid Acrylics are the true form of the paint. They thinit out with thier medium for the airbrush colors and use a thickening agent for the heavy body stuff. So if you have either the fluids or tube/heavybody then thin it with the Airbrush medium to the consistancy of milk. It's all the same pigments no matter which you buy just one has an additive to make it either thicker or thinner.
Now you cn thin with water but you will loose alot of the holding power. If you want to be able to erase or scratch off you may want to substitute some of the medium for water. If you looking for a long lasting water proof surface with full strength in color use the airbrush medium.
Thanks for that info Clinton..My 1st batch of Goldens should be here tomorrow..I bought the medium also...When i did mess with waterbase i just used water to thin, never messed with the mediums...I'll have some fiddling to do...Yer info helped make some sense of it though.
