Does anybody know where too get a decent ab case. I was looking in ebay at those alluminum gun cases, but they will run ~$50.00 with S&H, then I need to cut some foam for the guns to fit.

Thanks for all the replies so far. Clinton, if I go with yours, I will have a future BBQ set as a gift for my brother :party-smiley-042: and Corey, I think that is the most inexpensive way to go so far. I waslanning on going to the Pawn shops and a gun store today, since I have to go to Glendale later (ghetto land) :av-650: , and see what I can find, hell, that is how I found mt first compressor, and since my first ab was stolen by tweakers, I figured that is where it wound up. KEEP THE IDEAS ROLLING IN PLEASE!

The foam in mine was perforated into little suares. So I just layed my guns down and figured out what need to be removed. I used a pair of scissors and cut about a half inch off each piece.

I use a tackle box. Think I got it for 15 bucks. Holds around 20 airbrushes.

Mine are in a giant Art Box, but my only concern about that is when I am taking them to school to use, the box isn't as secure as the other ones, even though it cost twice as much, and when I go to the main campus, I will be traveling up to a mile to and from class. The west campus isn't as bad. I will not leave my guns at school, nnnnooooo wwwaaaayyy! I have had too many stolen before.......:frustrated:
Well,,, guess that leaves my suggestion out,,,
I just use a 5 gal paint bucket for guns/hoses/paint
all with one handle to tote with !!!
Well,,, it fits well in the back of the pick-up:partyalone:

after reading this post, it was in the back of my mind. The family did our weekly shopping at TARGET and while my wife was getting her necessities in the makeup isle, what did I see. A nice airbrush case for all to have . Yup at target there is a metal make up case. It has four tiered compartments for make up and what not... and a nice cavity under them. These compartments fold out like a tackle box. I figured if you get foam, cut out the shape of your brushes with an exacto knife... you have a nice tiered case with room at the bottom of any type of AB necessities. give it a try it might just work for you.

OMG! You are genious, and I am an idiot! I actually own one of those! Too late. I broke down and bought a gun case at the new Cabela's across from our new stadium. You should have seen the guys face when I told him what I was going to put in it. He thought I was going to say some kind of fire arm, but at least my abs are guns! LOL He then asked my what I paint, and do I do TPs :speechless-smiley-0 Now I need to cut the foam. You should have seen the ladies faces at Jo-Annes when I came in for foam with that Gun Case LMAO I still like to see the shock value from people, the rebel in me never dies hahahaha

I just had another idea for a kewl box for air or hairy brushes. Never thought about it till We decided ta play a lil texas holdem last night. But Karla ( My Wife ) bought a new set of chips & cards the other day at the dollar store for 8 bucks & they came in the coolest lil aluminum box, It would be perfect for that kinda stuff. Just a thought, Cowboy

Here is what I wound up getting. I have the original gray foam, but until I come up with a better way for layout, this green one will work. I also have an antique Paache and another VL....
