I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem when you want to airbrush something for your self but you don't know what to do. I have just realized that i have never done anything for myself. I want to do something on a hoody that I have but I am worried that once I do something on it I wont like it and there goes a good hoody. I think part of my problem is that I have convinced myself that I can't do something. Now that I have done that I feel like I can't do anything and it discourage me from airbrushing. I just don't know what to do any more.

I've often done that Ice...Him Haw over a project for weeks trying to work up the nerve.....Sometimes (for me anyway) I just gotta bite the bullet...Get everything set up, AB in hand....Take a deep breath and let er rip!

.....Just like jumping in cold water, Ya can't walk in, Ya gotta dive..........Not the easiest thing to do..But if i didn't do it that way, Nothing would get done,hehe

It happens to me a lot Ice...im taking classes with Luc Boivin and when im around him and his explanations im doing o.k...But once i get home i get frustrated and shove almost everything i do in the garbage.....so you're not the only 1

I've been in paint,, seems like all my life,,,
always a customer waiting for their stuff !!!
Now,,, I've semiretired,, I can do all the
things I've always wanted to do for myself !!!
I've got canvas ready,, shirts ready,,,
everythings ready,, paint n everything !!!
Now,, WHAT DO I WANT TO DO FOR MYSELF ???
I've hit a Blank Wall,,, White Paper,, Nada !!!
It seems without a customer,,, I'm content to
just sit back and play on the puter,, just sit
back and fart,, belch,, look at a blank surface !!!
With all the smiles over the years from delivered
work,, now I find I'm the most difficult customer
I've run into,, as far as what do I want !!!
I understand your delima all too well !!!

I am gald to see I am not the only one.

Thanks Whit I would have never guessed it would be this hard to pick something for myself. Maybe I will do something for my son to get the juice flowing again.

Creativity breeds...once you do a little, the brain starts to fire, and the next thing you know, you have a bunch of ideas.
PICK ONE... go to the library, hang out in a book store...find something that really appeals to YOU. Let your imagination run amok for awhile...

I,m Perty much like whit, I dont do any customer work anymore. And have all kinds of stuff ready to be painted on, All kinds of original designs sketched out ( mostly sick & Morbid ) . The kind off stuff everybody likes & pays for exept Me. Everything around my place is western style & completly covered in artwork My Wife ( She does mostly oils & water colors ) & I have done over the years. & I,m drawing a blank as what to do for Myself. So I just go out in the shop & walk around Disgusted mostly. Just cant get motivated. So Yer far from being alone Ice. Cowboy

I have the same problem.. I realize i can paint anything I want but can never come up with what I want, I paint something don't want it I sell it or give it away.. then try again,,
I do end up with a few things I like.. and Friends like what I give them..
