Hi Guys, on a different time zone here so woke up to find all your great comments about my seascape, Thanks a million for that, gonna try and get some photos today as the weather has improved, and in Ireland you never know what the weather will do. This particular painting is of the cliffs in Arran More Island this is where my Grandparents came from, I should mention that it is the most westerly point in Ireland, in Europe, So the next stop is America. It is a wild and rugged place, where the fishermen are hardy and weather beaten, they lay lobster pots below these cliffs, very dangerous but part of there world, I think this areas got a raw beauty that cannot be matched, Whats even better is that no tourists know about it so its really quiet, its got a light house on these cliffs, I believe there was a guy in a rowing boat came from America landed on these rocks one night and climbed up these cliffs to what her thought was Scotland, The light house keeper couldnt believe he climbed the cliffs, it was only in the morning in the daylight that he himself realised that he had climbed them, Apparently he was dissapointed he didnt reach Scotland, Should be greatfull he was alive at all! When i get more photos today i will post them on the 'who are you' part of this site, Always great to here from you guys.

Slan.

I think you did a great job. I saw this yesterday. How did you do the highlights, splashing waves, and foam on the water?

Beautifu work, Kevin.
It evokes alot of feeling.
You should consider doing a series, painting not only the landscape, but also the weather worn folk. Their faces tell many a story too.
