Sooooo lets say your busy painting fire on a chevy 4x4 4 door beast....annnnnd your only a couple hours into your job and have a 3 day streatch ahead of you.... and your cap falls off...... :violent-smiley-011: spend the next couple hours looking for a replacement? i say nay nay....the answer is in the oddest of places... hahaha all ya gotta do is take some green tape make two layers line the inside of a beer bottle cap, take a nail drive it through from the bottom up for a vent hole... and vwalaaaaa..... never outsted again!!!! still have that same cap now too... only been a year and a half hahahah.....only prob is need to replace the tape everynow and them, but works like a charm.....long as you use two layers of tape, one still leaks a little...

Great idea.. I've usedr a milk cap before after I ran over my cover with my rolling chair, on a cement floor screwed up the edges, worked until I got a replacement. I guess i never thought of a beer cap since I don't drink anymore..

I try to avoid doing that ...LOL I made a case that when I take anything off the airbrush even just for color change I always place it in that case, Guess that is just from years of turning wrenches and not wanting to lose tools or worse leave them inside an engine or transmission. But it is a great ideal and I think I remember when you did that....LOL
