are you asking what kind of paint to use? I normally use createx for fabric. I would lay down white first and then your color.

Fabric paint. :) Just kidding, if it were me, and I am. I would buy Golden fluid Acrylics and mix em 50/50 with the Airbrush medium for fabric. That way you can also use them on pretty much any other surface and they spray about the best out of all the Acrylics.

If your spraying just black shirts, get the Golden GAC900 which is the heatset addative. Give it a few light coats to start (straight GAC900) and iron/heatset to seal it off. Then hit it with your white paint, layout your design in white first and your colours will actually stand out. Then finish with whatever colours you need, hit it with another coat of the GAC900. Heatset and your done, if you want it more of a rubbery feel you can add about 5-10%of the GAC900 to the paint mix as well. Hope that helps.

Whit you crakin me up! And yes white paint. lay it on in layers, heat set it between layers, build it up gradually. then apply colors over the top again in layers. I use Aqua flow, available online thru Coastairbrush.com or Ugh.. Bearair.com. I havent used the Goldens but I've never heard anything bad about it. probably easier to get at art supply stores. :tee:

WHAT is the cape made of? Polyester or cotton? IF its washable WASH FIRST! that gets rid of a lot of 'new fuzz'.. I just washed 15 brand new shirts, and had to clean the lint trap 3 times while drying..pretty lint..
