I have a customer that gave me a sonic jewlery cleaner, but on the box it says you can use it for ab's.. my question is ( I have been having trouble with my iawata hp-c) do I use the jewlery cleaner or do they sell something for the ab??
and How do I do the ab keep it assembled or tear it apart?

Quite a few people do this and favor the Createx/AutoAir Airbrush Restorer. Be weary to let brushes with rubber o-rings to soak too long or they will swell.

Get the AB cleaner solution do a 25%cleaner and 75%distilled water mix, pull the needle off etc, just keep most of the air valve out the cleaner. Sometimes what happens is the paint softens so easier to pick off, especialy if you have probs in the nozzle.

I use to use a sonic cleaner. Never had any problems, but didn't leave em in there very long. Now I pull the needle and cap, put em in tupper ware, throw em in the back of the truck and head home. Put em together when I get there.
