My 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder has a plastic front bumper and several other pieces that are plastic. The plastic is the same color as the car. Where is the color code for paint usually located on cars and can the same touch up paint that's used for the metal body be used on plastic?

There's several small knicks out of the paint where rocks has chipped it.

Thank you in advance.

Well first off welcome spyder, Tough question. importants are tougher sometimes. Anywhere from on the firewall, some on the fender wells, top of radiator support. But some hide under the carpet in the back hatch or trunk. Yer owners manual will ussually give You the location & it will be a tag or decal . As far as the paint ,if there just chips You can go to Yer auto body paint store & get touch up paints to match the factory color, Not much help i know. Someone else here might have worked on one recently than I have & be more help. & Yes it can be used on plastic to Cowboy
