Hi guys, I bought a Beugler (sp) Striping tool to tackle some long stripes that I would have a lot of anxiety about trying with my shaky hand and a 00Mack sword brush (still a striping Newbie). I am gonna fire it up today, and get some practice in. Wondered if any of you striping veterans can lend a little first hand experience or things to watch out for.
Thanks in advance,
Scott
Is that the lil bottle with a wheel on it ???
Tried one years ago when I developed a twitch !!!
It Leaked and dripped all oner tha place,,, but,,,
(mabye it was me drippin an leakin)
Since,,, on tha long lines,,, I just go to the parts
store and get a double stripe tape,,, apply,,,paint
in between the stripes for a single stripe and pull
tape !!! Double stripe the same,,, just twice !!!
Gives a consistant painted stripe,,, just wait till
paint tacks before pulling tape !!!
Can end the stripes with brush for the curly cues !!!

LOL, thanks HiRise, welcome to the forum!
I haven't been brave enough to try it yet, gonna give it a "squirt" this weekend if I have time. Funky little tool, if it works well, could be very useful.....
Let us know how it works out !!!

I got to play with one of those for the first time at the SF rod & custom show a couple days ago. Interesting tool, and it would be good for doing straight lines down the side of a car if your hand isn't steady enough with a brush (which mine isn't yet). Still, I prefer the brush for doing the designs.
I know there's a lot of brush purists out there that say the beugler is junk... but it is a tool, just like the brush is. Its a matter of the person holding the tool and utilizing it, really.
One lil trick I've found is laying a strip
of fineline tape where you need it and
brush a stripe on the TOP side using
the tape for the lower edge !!!
When you pull the tape,,, you've got a
brush line with a straight lower edge
that's not noticeable as a taped line !!!
Gives a lot of window for variences in
your line letting the tape bear the brunt !!!
This comes in handy for Paint/Body shop
repairs because the consistancy of your
line can be regulated more than just hittin it
when you have to match a door stripe to
each fender and your matching others work !!!
Still interested in how the experiment went tho !!!
