Does anyone have a recommendation for a video that does a good job of demonsrtrating the basic strokes? Dots, lines, and fades I understand and can somewhat perform. I am having more difficulties with the dagger stroke. I read and understand how it is supposed to be done. I am more of a visual learner though. I find it much easier to see, then do.

Thanks

Tim

I have a few vidoes I'm gonna be sellin soon. I'll look em over and see which one would be good. I think it's advanced lettering or something like that.

I rented the Intro to Automotive Airbrush. Not going to buy it. Glosses over most things and does stress dots, lines and daggers. Maybe I missed it but really didn't explain to me how to do the daggers, just that they are always used.

Rented the trufire dvd. May buy that after a while. A little advanced for me at the moment. Lot of other titles in there.

They changed their name so try www.smartflix.com. May same some or may cost more. Depends on how you look at it. Save things I don't want for me.

The video I bought when I decided to do more than paint model cars with my airbrush is from airbrush action, The title is,Introduction to airbrush by Debbie Eastlack, I also have an older one by Terry hill but I feel the other one is better. I saw an imeadiate results after watching the video and found it helpful to follow along with the video at the same time, granted all I am doing is dots, lines, and control type exercises, but it is really helping with my control of the airbrush.

Moose,
If you are going to get into tshirts start doing your practice stuff on paper towels. As soon as you feel like you are ready you can play on old shirts you have laying around the house.Lettering is a must learn when you are doing shirts. Then your art work will come. But learn your dagger stroke, loops, dots, fades and so one. This will really help you.Get Begining airbrushing by Terry Hill. That was one of the best buys I make when I started.Good luck.
