okay, this actually happened.....

when i started airbrushing T-shirts, i was really just thrown into it and had to work most things out on my own. Once the lil hole on the airbrush bottle got plugged completely with paint while i was painting and talking with a customer at the same time....now keep in mind, i like to use A LOT of pressure, but any way, as i'm talking and painting, i turn around to look at her at the same time i was taking the bottle off to change colors, and the bottle EMPTIED ITSELF all over her.....it was a good thing she had sunglasses on!!..... and a BETTER thing that she had a sense of humor!! (she got a free airbrushed shirt...uh huh....

I've had similar issues. Back flushing the brush and paint came out the hole most of the time just went all over me. One particular time I got purple all over my tan shorts. Since purple is not my color I took my "LIPS" stencil and put red lips all over the fromt of my shorts. That way it covered the purple and I offered to have others put their lips there too. I thought it was a nice fashion statement.

so far, I haven't had anything like that happen to me. All my shows were pretty much easy going. I di try to take a camera with me when ever I do do a craft show or anything like that, that way i can be ready when something like that does happen.:devil2:

Many moons ago when I was still young and chipper I worked at a manufacturing plant. They were using 2 part epoxies and an airless sprayer that quit working. I was messing with it and had a circle of people around me including the boss in a suit and tie. I found out that I had fixed the problem when I nailed them all with safety yellow. I was horrified when I looked up and the boss had yellow streak across the front of him. He looked at me and said I should have known better than to be standing in front of you working on a paint gun. Geez ... for a minute there I thought I was unemployed for sure.

I bet you had a hard time apologizing and explaining for that one. Thanks for posting.
