I was spraying a chroma base coat.
The finish was grainy unless I layed it on really heavy.
Would that be a problem with basemaker temp range???

Sounds like it might be reducer temp . CC. If Ya mixed it right, & strained it, & the paint aint been froze, & the surface Ya put it on was smooth as a baby,s butt & Yer shootin the right distance & proper air preasure . & I assume, Ya did that all like Yer posed to,I,m Just saying that for any nubies that might read this. I keep all temps, but start with mid temp. Then speed it ,or slow it down, whichever is needed. Good luck, Also If its silver, sometimes it dont seem ta matter what Ya do, sometimes it,ll shoot like glass & other times not so much.

I was using midtemp at about 80 degrees.
Everything was new mixed 50/50.
Primer prep was 600 grit.
Using a new sharp Finex 1.4 tip.
Used a 60 ML syringe to get ratio exact.
It sounds like the problem may be little old me.
First time using anything but a belly gun.
Learning can get expensive.
But I'm up for another round.
