This thread is being posted to annoy Duh Niece!!!!

Please post all your comments and suggestion's concerning common household cleaners, auto fluids, and any nasty compound that you use in your airbrushing endeavors!!!!!!

She will, to save Steven from the "LAWYER'S", post up MSDS's on each and every suggestion that we post!!!!!!

Maybe, if we do this she will come back and play with us!!!!.....or the alternative.....we will make her life a living hell posting all the "disclaimers/safety warnings" that have been popping up !!!!!!!!!

MONGO!!!!!

Your crackin me up Denise. My cousin does that stuff when he shops for groceries. Lets me know what's not healthy, that's what I go for. What don't kill you makes you stronger. I mixed up some stuff once that burnt my nose hairs and made my eyes burn. I can't remember her name though so I can't give any info on that.

I don't use any of that nasty stuff you guys are into. Just plain old Acetone to clean the AB, and regular old Fabric Softener for cleaning and storing hairy-brushes...

Yah, lol. Same kind as you throw in the washing machine at home. It cleans and conditions the bristles.

Leave a dirty brush in a small glass of it overnight and the paint will release from the bristles. Give it a quick soap rinse, then dip the brush in there again and put it in a ziplock. The brush will be nice and soft, ready for its next use. Just give it a quick soap and water rinse before using.

It's not my original idea, I seen it somewhere and it does work. No MSDS for fabric softener? :wink2:

I am surprised you found that one...

You even pre-empted me on the dryer sheets. I use those too for doing textures...

Now I gotta think about the next one...

I use Vinegar and then naptha to remove wax on vehicles before i scuff and paint. naptha is wonderful stuff!

Actually i drink vinegar with apple juice regularly (1 tsp. to a glass). nothing like running a solvent thru yer veins to perk ya right up! (i tried naptha but it didn't have that punch like vinegar!!
