I was looking in the classifieds the other day and found this person looking for an airbrush artist. I thought what the heck why not contact the person and see what they are looking for. What they are looking for are people that can do back drops for pictures. I am thinking I can probably handle something like this. I am a little nervous about it though. Just have to wait and see what happens i guess.

Thanks cowboy. I am sure I will be one here asking a bunch of questions hehehe. She was asking how much I would charge I said it would depend on how detail they would want it. I said I would start $50 on up because what they were looking for is something that is 6'x6'

6 foot by 6 foot. For 50 bucks. No way.
Way too cheap man, what you're talking about steps into mural work...and mural work is anywhere from $25-75 a SQUARE FOOT. 50 bucks for the whole thing? Dude, don;t you dare.

I agree! I have seen your work, and you are much more skilled than the Average Joe, so be confidant in your skills, and ask more if they are wanting detailed stuff. Plus who will provide the paint and other supplies?

I agree $50.00 for a 6x6 thats faux painting only.. any details would at least be $120.00 and up.. plus like lynn said who supplies the material?

I did tell her depending on what the job was that it could cost more. I wasn't sure what to tell her so I figured I would start at $50 if she just wanted like color or stuff like that. I will make sure I check with you guys before I tell her the price when I do something =0)

What would be a good surface to do this on any way. I have been thinking off a couple of things to do it on but I am not sure what would work best. They would want to us them over and over again.
