Goofy place to find a new tool!!

Tonight was pizza night at my house. After cleaning the pizza out of the box I found a nice, heavy duty plastic sheet used to keep the pizza from sticking to the box. It is made up of small diamond shapes and is a great stencil for all sorts of things, including the snakeskin effect I posted in the gallery. Sometimes you find nice tools in the weirdest places!!

Stretched on opposed diagonal corners that'd make a great carbon fibre effect. Although I suppose due to the springiness of the material it would be tough to tile it seamlessly over, say, a motorcycle tank.

I was racking my brain on how to get that carbon fiber effect earlier, and then it seems somebody posted about using some mesh stockings for that. I haven't found a woman walking around in the right stockings yet (least not one I was brave enough to try to talk them out of), and I'm not so sure about loitering in the women's stocking department at Wal-Mart for too long. I live in a small town and people tend to talk.

its funy what u find in some places where u dont think to find somthing ok.
i find that women sox whit i do that carbon loocks and anothet helmet whkt that sox but another efect.
hey bigwater send some girlto buy it for u :)) . i go there and buy and the girls from there loock at me so strange :))) but i said its a gift for sombody :))))
that first sox what i have was from my exgirfriend :))))
its funny to look around to see some things u can use for diferite cool works
so.......keep ure eyes open always cose never u dont know what u will see good for help in airbrush work ;)

You missed a good time to pick up some garters! After Halloween, all of the stores clear out their Halloween stuff and garters are always there for 75% off. I picked up a couple at Walgreens for nothing...........they fit snug on my hips though:wink2:

The liners are more commonly used to line the drawers or tool chests or kitchen silverware drawers and cabinets, so you should be able to find them either in the kitchen section of a home improvement store or departments store, or at a hardware store in the tools section.
