That is really GREAT! I thought that was extra generous of you also to take time out to post a video, especially for people who can't always get their hands on them.

Very nice Tom. You created a softness and a glow about her using your airbrush and other tools. Looks great from here :-)

Tom,
Your work is great. What size do you work with. What you tools do you use to get the desired look you want.

Thanks Margret!
AirTodd--I always work 15" X 20" on illustration board. You're probably familiar with my process:
1. Draw it in regular pencil
2. Light passes of skin tone with the airbrush (Iwata CM-B), with erasing highlights in between where necessary. This creates a more subtle, sculpted look to the skin, as opposed to trying to get the tone in one or two passes. This also makes me use the white of the board for highlights as opposed to spraying a highlight color--this makes the highlights look more natural.
3. Final details/sculpting with a sable hairbrush....most notably in the eyes, lips, and hair, as well as some fine retouching of stray lines creating from frisket misalignment.
Hope this helps!

Tom,
Glad to see you back. She looks killer as usual. I'll have to stop by and see her in person. I'll even take a look at the painting if I've got time. I'll give you a call for lunch this week.
Take care, Steve.

Good to have comic fans here :) Thanks! Yes, it's hard to break in.....lots of luck and politics, unfortunately, plays a big part. Hope you do well with it!

Yes please give me a call...huge deadlines have just been wrapped up (for now!), and I'd like to catch up with friends in the next week!
