Hi,, i hope this isn't to obscene admin feel free to delete this post
if you find it to be so,
anyhow this girl is airbrushed on an old LP-record
i remove the paper lable at the center by soaking it in hot water
and scratch with my finger nail untill the paper is gone,
then i take a rag with some paint thinner and remove the glue which
can be little tricky to remove, when done i use a fine grit sand paper and watersand the whole record by moving my hand in circles(follow the grooves) to avoid to make scratches,
when done i spray a basecoat/groundcolor black in this case and then do my art work upon that,
this one i 100% airbrush used my iwata HP-CH (superb airbrush )
to mask things off i used parchment paper, for the eyes and mouth
i cut small eye and mouth shaped holes and sprayed a base color black to the eyes and red for the mouth, then did all details with a steady hand
and light trigger finger,
it was a very fun project .Btw,, it still need a coat of clear to be completed
