Ok....here we go, some of you have heard me talk about this for awhile...and well, here it is. This is for the customer that showed up with a two inch stack of reference that was all over the map....took two meetings to nail her down with the theme and the images themselves.
"Rock and roll enthusiast", was the basic theme... kinda tied into a road tour, loosely. The images on the top view of the tank are spiritual representations to her, an elk and ocelot....the female face is the owner itself, I shot her at sunset (on the patio at a bar)...played with the images in Photoshop, and there you have it.
I delivered today, and she was absolutely floored. I love the reactions almost as much as I do the green stuff.
Hope you like it too....
Thanks,
Lynne
INDEED!!!...Excellent stuff...I really like the colors and how they mesh.....And the "reaction" as well as the "green", well said!....Thanks for showing Lynne..Came out sweet!

Lol, thanks D and Dell....but hon, green? No green in this piece. Base colour is kind of an IROC blue candy over aluminum flake....and all the art is rendered in orange, purple, magenta, yellow and blues.

OH THAT GREEN.
Ok, I'm officially blonde today. Sorry boys.
I know Moe (illfx), (he's the sweetheart that does all my clear work) we don't get tips, we get hugs. What the?
You knew I was gonna post this up as fast as possible. I'm still geeked about it.

Hey Lynne!
Love it!
You really pulled it off, and even with all that 'input' from your customer!
I also love that's it's really fresh!
Came out great and even better for scoring future work, too!

Thanks! I shot it all in AutoAir (the OLD formula, Clinton tell's me there's a new one...Clinton, lol, tell autoair to send me paint!)...
white layed down first, then built colour in opaques and transparents, maybe a little candy here and there to punch it up.

Owner called me last night, at 11...jesus. She got a chip on the TOP of the tank, said a bug hit it...dammit...gonna go survey the damage and take pics of the bike put together this afternoon. Sigh...some people's kids.

Made it out there to take a look...it's a small nasty chip...looks like a rock or something...who knows. Sigh, I told her we'd take care of it, but she needs to drop it off.

Nah, the fix will be gratis. it's tiny, really. And I'm getting more work from them...

Nope...ya can't! Lol. It's not my standard policy (which I'm making up as I go along, if any of you ask)...but it's small enough, PLUS! Moe's gonna coach me on it, and I get to learn how to fix stuff like this. Handy.
