Here are a few clear lexan bodies I have painted, they are pretty beat up from racing and were painted quite a few years ago before I had a good enough airbrush to add drop shadows. it's almost imposible to add drop shadows in this scale even with my Iwata HB-CH because drop shadows have to be painted first and the overspray/presure just swirls around inside the body and gets everywhere you don't want it. ( you paint the bodies from the inside,so you have to paint backwards.....I'm dyslexic....so no problems for me ) anyway, not my best work, My better stuff seems to always get sold off to another racer. bodies painted with fascolor (same as createx)and mounted on a patriot chassis. it's hard to see, the black one has purple and blue flames, Only ran that body once.....couldn't see it on the track.

wow, that's really cool work at such a tiny scale. I like the blue flame one, but I can't imagine working on things that size.

Thanks for the props ! The red white and blue flame is my favoite one too. I'm going to paint up another one like that but try to refine the flames a little, add a little shadow under the flames and some shadows and highlights to the flag to make it look like it's waving.
