How to mark forums read?

Not really spam related..But I have a question for ya's....I use the new post button mainly...But it gets cluttered with posts from time to time..Like Quarantined Posts for example....There's no need for me to open something already there..But I have to, to mark it as read before it'll bail off my screen........Is there a way to check the boxes and select "mark as read" somewhere?...I've been looking but can't find anything....Sorry if it's a dumb question..Thanks for any help:)

Look under "Quicklinks" and click "Mark Forums Read". This will mark all unread messages as read and prevent you from having to open each one to mark it.

Depending on which skin you are using Quicklinks will be either underneath the ABTech logo (ambience skins) or in the main menu bar (vBulletin skins).
