Well I ordered some Mack brushes, One Shot Paint, and decided to give it a try, I had an airbrush that I had played with years ago. Practiced doing lines and curves for a couple of evenings, can't get the tight turns down at all, brush always flairs, any help would be great, by the way I am 50 years old, guess you have to start sometime. Last night I layed out some flames on the old garden tractor, air brushed it and striped it this morning, really need help with the tight turns.

Tight turns are tight turns,,, no matter
how long you been doin it !!!:rotflmao:
I've found a lil trim (1/16 inch) on the
lower side of a dagger brush helps tho !!!
Another good investment would be a
scroll brush as well for the tighter curves!!!
Also,,, twist your brush into the turn as well
between your thumb and forefinger as you pull !!!
Welcome to the forums BTW !!!

Thats a damn good first effort!.

Although I've never actually done any striping so tell me to shut up if I'm talking crap), but I think your supposed to twist the brush as you do the turn(or so I believe.....ahem).

Thanks for the advice, Thanks again, more practice this evening , I am pretty anal when it comes to this type of thing, I want perfect, I have to remind myself of two things, One- it is hand painted and not a decal, Two- I have no talent, and have to rely on hard work to achieve the desired results. Back to the drawing board.

nice mower! art too :D
I'll have to try the trim of the belly hairs~ but yes, those tight turns can be a bear!
but I found (thru lotsa reading ) hold the brush more up right, and turn more than you think you need.
I'm just starting too :)

welcome aboard too! :clapping:
