Hey everybody, hoping someone can help me with a small prblem I'm having. On my double action airbrush, when I press down for just air I'm getting a very fine steam or spray of paint. I've already cleaned the airbrush to make sure that the needle is seated properly. But it's still doing it. Any ideas as to why..........Anybody!

Thanx , I've had this problem before, but usually a thorough cleaning will fix it. Not doing it this time.

Sounds perty much like D said , unless Ya might have a lil split in the nozzle Get Ya a magnifyin glass & inspect it before spending to much time on it, There very britel & dont take much to damage. Good luck .

Yeah, it sounds like one of those two. I don't know how many times I had to help people, in the airbrush class I took at school, find out what's wrong with their airbrush just to find out that they pushed the needle in too hard and cracked the nozzle. I would take the nozzle out, clean it really, really well, and then check for cracks.

What they said:thumbsup:..All's I can do is echo the same..That seems to happen quite a bit while painting........One thing to remember when you see that...Sometimes it's a loose blockage and will blow out. Sometimes sooner than later...All over yer masterpiece, Yuck LOL!.....I always spray a test spot before I work on the project..Just to check for such a thing...Usually a back flush or pull the needle and slide it back and forth while spraying a cleaner/thinner through it, does the trick.....Depends on what paint yer using for the cleaner..........If there's not something blocking, could be more serious...Good luck:)

usually when that happens I point at a seperate piece of paper and blast full throttle.. some times that will clear out what is holding the needle. other than that the same as D said..
