I was just wondering has anyone put together a good how to on the reverse painting of R/C bodies for us newbies??? And if so where can I find it?

Well I cant find the thread but I remember someone here talking about how He did it, Just cant member who, Not sure if it was a how to though, Hows that for Useless help Bud. lol

Back in the 60's was into slotcars,,,
same basics,, used a hairy brush,,,
just takes thought,, as the top color
goes first,, or a total reverse of
what you're used to normally !!!
Lettering needs to go first,, with
everything layered after that !!!

once ya get the hang of it !!!

if anyone has ever heard of "radio control hobbies" it's on direct tv and i used to watch it every sunday morning........there was a good step by step on how to paint bodies just with spray cans though. but the same methods can be applied to airbrushing i would assume. it's just harder to do all the masking "inside" the body rather than outside. i have painted probably 15 bodies with the "lexan paint cans" and masking was a little tricky.

If you don't mind spending the 15 bux XXX Main has an excellent dvd out. It shows a lot of ideas and skills for someone trying to figure it out.Part# is DVD5
