though most of the time i kringe when customers ask for it, i've tried to embrace the these strange jobs and challenge myself to make them better than the customer imagined. case-in-point...super bright and in your face kiss fan art.
Lookin Good !!!
Bet it made a KISS fan happy !!!

Woah that is hot Red
Looks good Red. The way I read your initial statement made me think of something mentioned before. To me, some of the things a customer would ask for would be disheartening at times. But in a business you have to give what is wanted.
Don't misunderstand what I am going to say but, Dog asking about your ride, I hope it won't have a ferring.
Like I said, it looks good and no doubt a happy customer.

thanks guys and gal.
the customer loved it. that all that matters. and to tell you the truth if it's not hardcore-oldschool blues or jazz, it just don't do much for me. i'm a pretty emotional guy so when it comes to music, i need to feel something more that just happy-goodtime stuff. have you ever been to a concert or in your car when a good blues guitar solo comes on? it's one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. so full of emotion and heartbreak it makes your eyes water. case in point: jimi hendrix's "bold as love"
anyway, sorry...way off course there.
but i did want to share something i found recently from http://www.guitarpartsusa.com
it's called a "Saga Guitar kit" and it's got everything to build a complete electric guitar. kit's range in price from about $139-$250. i bought a les paul replica kit and a paul reed smith replica kit but they have strats and tele's too. the coolest thing is they come coated it clear resin and sanded just waiting for you to paint it!
here's the les paul replica body that i just finished (pre-buffing). tobacco stained and red kandied with 23kt gold leaf star and hand pinstriped.
