A blanket I worked on last night until 2 am. This is just a fun gift for an old friend so there was no stress involved. Just sitting, relaxin and enjoying the zone. It was kinda nice.... wish I could have stayed awake for more of it though!! LOL :p

That is adorable! I saw some baby stuff at Last Chance, and wondered if there was a market for that.

I am sure there probably is a market for it, but I don't think I would be painting too many poohs. I am not much of a pooh fan.... though this one was fun for a change.

Neat blanket Lilred. I remember some of my airbrush friends in Europe selling the service of painting the images on birth announcements on baby t-shirts, bibs, blankets, etc. They seemed to have found quite a few people that wanted to give something meaningful and unique after the baby was born.

Reddanner~I used createx, so it is non toxic... but this isn't a gift for a baby/child... she is in her 30s!! LOL Just a kid at heart!
Denise~I was going to paint the trees and such in the background like in the ref pic... but then I thought... no... I am too lazy and it is 2am!! I know, how sad right!!lol Oh well... I can do a tut for this.. if I can find the how to section again. lol
FullBlast~ I picked up 10 (50"x60")of them for 3 bucks each at big lots. But I also pick up these types of blankets at walmart in their discount isle. They make GREAT car blankets. When the kids don't need them they roll right back up and store right under the seats AND they work pretty good as make shift pillows. That is actually why I picked them up originally.

Josie~ These ones from big lots are polyester.. but the ones from walmart are a cotton mix. I don't have a label for one of those at the moment. I have painted quite a few of both and hold the paint quite well. My kids each have one up at our cabin.
Sharon~ I prefer Mickey Mouse!
