Would Auto Air be an alright paint for painting a lexan body? I am going to paint a buddies Savage monster truck body and would like a few pointers

Faskolor by Parma is made just for lexan bodies and is water based. Rumor has it that AA is the same thing just repackadged - don't know if there is any truth to it though.

Auto Air will fine just paint from the inside that's all

Yes AA works great. It's true, Createx/AA/Parma Faskolor all works and are all basicly the same, being made by Createx.

know this is an old thread, but wondering do you just go right in there with the AA or do you need to do owt first? I've got one of these to do next week.
I'll probs use e'tac actually with the H2Uro additive to add extra bonding strength to the paint.
will it be ok to just de-grease and go right in with that?
Thanks.

With AA or the like, there is no need for scuffing or bond additives. Adhesion is great. The most important step is to degrease. Typically done with liquid dish soap and warm water, wash and rinse. Go right in with paint and your good. One last step with a sealant to protect from scratching or Fuel if needed.

Mate, You'll have so much fun painting these! It'll blow your mind painting backwards!
I had to write down EVERY step so I did it in the right order!

Just 'curl one down' on the bonnet! That'll do!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D Only joking!!!!

That'll be some high quailty masking! My recommendation for that is DEFINITELY use masking fluid, rather than tape, but at least as the bodies are clear, you can stick a (reversed) picture of whatever you need on the outside, and still see it from underneath!
