I have been looking into getting a couple of new hlvp guns and I wasn't sure if anyone has had these? The price for the kit isn't bad either at $99.99. If anyone can shed some light on these it would be great!!!!!! Thanks in advance.

Not familiar with these in particular,, but,,
DeVilbiss has always been top notch as
long as I've been spraying,,, I used the
DeVilbiss guns exclusively in the 70's,, and
would'nt be afraid to invest in these today
but that's based on past experiences !!!
Actually,, with Devilbiss name on them,,,
really not a bad price !!

Yup got the same set....I use the bigger Gun for Primers mainly..Doesn't seem to like base coats...The lil one works OK..I don't like the Trigger on the LIl one..Just feels cheap.."catchy"..I've lubed and polished everything I could.....Also the Plastic cups are crap...They scratch and paint sticks in the gouges...Hard to clean after awhile....I dropped my lil one and snapped the cup right off..

They make almost the same kit with Metal cups, ya might wanna look for....They're not bad at all....Although I bought a small siphon (not HVLP) devilbliss, it was $50 or so...everything about it works better than both of these....Weird, same company different design..The fit and finish of the Siphon is just better.

Same thing as ABD. The little one is a decent gun with the base coats and the clears, but the bigger one sucks unless its primer. The set now sits on a shelf in my shop collecting dust

Maybe you could buy a smaller sized needle and fluid tip for the bigger gun to make it more useful.
Just a suggestion.
