I had to share this, I picked it off another site, but I am still trying to fathom the sheer patience! By both parties, LOL.
I don't think they used any thinner on the paints. May have made a difference for the subject to stay still.

how the heck did they get this cat to stay put? a vice?
There's a book out on decorating cats, using vegetable dyes.... bizarre.
Uh, not something I think I'll take up anytime soon.
But bloody funny though.

That came from Kicks! He is just as crazy as that paint job. I bet he did it and just doesn't want us to know that he secretly enjoys this kind of body paint! I wonder if there was a heat set......:dog:

Thanks Airarts, I couldn't remember where I grabbed the pic, it was just so funny, I had to share it with all airbrush artists. Yes, he would be just crazy enough to try it!

Just got this in an e-mail, included was the first pic in the post...
Lynne
The book these came from (Why Paint Cats) said some of the paint jobs cost $15,000 and had to be repeated every 3 months as the cat's hair grows out. Must be nice to have $60,000 a year just to keep your cat painted!
I still want to know how they keep em still...kitty qualudes? Jack Daniels? what?

Nope, not photoshop...the cats really are 'painted' using vegetable dyes.

I wonder how long the cats live after they got painted , cats do clean their self and would ingest the paint if not kept under control

Got emailed these the other day. Don't know if this was the cause but a virus slipped past Avast some time the same day and now even after reinstalling it one of my core applications, Coolspeech is corrupted and flagged as wormed. No kidding.
