Uh yep, pure Oxygen is highly flamable don't use that. C02 is what you'd want to use if you want to use a compressed gas.

May be a bit of a hazard in one way but it is most likely as clean a source as you can get.

Maybe you can alter a small portable oxygen bottle to fill with air from your compressor. My understanding is that if the bottle gets rust in the bottom they can't use it. Maybe you could.

Back in tha 50's,,, was tight with tha local wreckin yard (parts)
and used his welding bottle (oxy) to spray my 'ol 40 ford !!!
Course we were kids (no sense) but it worked great on enamel !!!
Axel greased tha bumpers,, taped off tha rest,,, pinched tha
hose for a regulator and went at it !!!
As soon as it was done,,, pulled tape,, wiped tha bumpers,,,
and lit out for town,,, wet paint n all !!!:partyalone:
By tha time we hit tha main drag to show it off,,, had bugs,,
grass,, trash,,, you name it,, it stuck !!!
Had one bug hit and slid about a foot on tha hood !!!
First Full Paint Job but no curtains (runs) an was proud
as could be,,, repainted about a month later,, an let it dry this time !!!
To sum it up,,, it does work !!! Just don't ask if I reccomend it !!!

there are medical air compressors, not sure what they're for, but i actually have one in my basement. I'd think for something respiratory but you might ask someone in a related field, wouldn't surprise me at all for you to find one at a hospital...they're very quiet too!
