What happened to some of my posts? I had over 1,300 posts, now I have only 877! It took me a long time to get over 1,300 posts! Pretty soon I'll be back to a newbie, LOL!!

Okay, I thought it was just me! I guess the old posts in the Gallery no longer count on the updated post counter?

The post count that you're showing now is the actual post count that you have made on this board. As Denise said, when we started the new board she transferred the post count from the old board to here. None of the actual posts were transferred however.

We had some serious database errors yesterday that were causing me all sorts of problems, and I had to do some maintenance on the database. Part of this was rebuilding the indexes and counters on the system. This caused all member's post count to now accurately reflect the actual number of posts they have made since this board was started.

Administrators can manually adjust post count in your user profile, so if it's that critical to you to include the post count from a board that hasn't existed in over a year, contact one of us and we'll bump the post count back up manually. Just be aware that any time I have to take measures to keep the database healthy it's going to cause your post count to reflect the actual number of posts on this board and not your inflated post count. This action might not have to be taken again for another year, or it might have to be done next week. There's no way to tell when the database is going to start acting up.
