Well, almost, it's cleared finally, but I am a little disappointed with the fire, can't really use tru fire, just doesn't work in this case, as the fire is supposed to be under pressure. Its just a little flat, needs more white and yellow highlights to punch it I think..... anyway, hope you enjoy, Happy Christmas all!

Thanks Josie, I hope you're enjoying your holiday! I have just never done fire, I'm an Old School hot rod guy, pinstriped flames and all that. Kinda fun to learn something new, need to try a few tru fire exercises!

Hey Dog!! I think the fire looks great....The problem I see with all the fire that is out there today is that it looks like cottage cheese and is static.....yours has motion and gives the effect of an explosive blast!!!! That is what the fire from the dragon should look like!!!! Great job!!! Len

Yeah, originally the dragons was supposed to be quite a bit more toward red, and I just like the color and left it orange, not thinking of the later flame addition. Oh well, its kinda monochromatic, with 13 paint colors, LOL!

LOL, man you are a funny dude!! Thanks, it couldn't be "tru fire" because dragons don't have fire falling out of their mouths, its fired under pressure. Was a dilemma I finally gave up on, since I screwed up and like the orange dragon so much, it all kinda came out the same color. The intention was for the dragon to be purplish red, I just liked him before I got there.

Give me a night, I have much on my plate, I will walk through my Mike Lavalee DVD and give you the coat sequence......

And thanks again for the pats, I really appreciate it!

To be honest, that was exactly my first impression when i clicked on the thumbnail. And Steel is right, this is what dragon fire should look like. All in all I think this is a pretty cool paint job.
