Sharon, I really like the dog painting but think you can take it from nice to outstanding by adding some detail to the grass. Here's a great 'How To' by Steve Leahy over at ab.com. Think you and the others here will find it very helpful.

First try with a manky brush onto a Zippo Lighter. Gave that up, as a bad cause then looked at the car.
Bear in mind, no proper pin-striping brush and just some white enmael..

I know, it's a bit wonky - but first try, freehand, straight onto the car. No tape, nor frisket, no pencil - just four pics from the internet and a tattoo book, pinned up around me.

Well all I did get to do some painting done this week. The first one is a quick tag I did for a guy at work.

I know there is no letter shadows or anything but he wanted it to look flat so I didn't do any extra to it at all.

This next one is an Christmas present for a friend at church. He has a boy that is deployed in the war and has these service ribbons in his office and on his house so I fig I would make him a custom hitch cover for his truck to show his pride. I wanted to try the dupla color auto paint that you see in the auto stores so I picked up some of the red, white, blue and some of the clear. The stuff shoots pretty good and has some draw backs but I will save that for a review in another section.

The hitch is not cleared yet but will be after this posting. Its made from 1/8" alum tread plate and the hitch tube is a $4.00 one I got from autozone.

speakin of slacker, i just made it in time i see.. heres what i did this morning for my cousin son for christmas. hes sooo into john cena the wrestler so im not a tshirt artist but i can see it can get into my blood. this is my 3rd shirt i ever done in my life.. Stang i owe you on this one, thanks to your help, bet you didn't know you'd helped me on this but you did alot.
here ya go gang, its not the best but it'll do for a teenage boy and i think i did ok for a shirt. i had the letters cascading smaller from larger, i did not wont to go all out but something simple but yet kewl looking, so heres what i came up with.
