Okay for a start - I had NONE of the right tools, just a normal size 0 paint brush! I used Enamel, freehanded it - etc. No masks, no pictures, no pencil sketches first....
Be honest, Please. If it stinks - say so. I know it'sa bit wonky, and didnt know if the image is supposed to mirror or reflect.
I carved something similar in stone, which is why I found the idea simple. Just a scroll, not quite so fancy, I got a bit caried away.............

Lookin Good There,,,,
judging by the preffrence you've got on design,,,
might think along the lines of a "Scroll" type
brush,,, the curly cues go a lot easier,, for
the longer swirls a reg striping brush is better !!!
Both would be great to have !!!

You did GREAT! and freehand is a true pinstriper. But the design belongs on the back of an old black rocking chair done in gold. Pinstriping should always have a slight freehand look to it, NO stencils! in my opinion. No two should be alike.
NICE JOB,

I've never been good at coming up with designs for stripes..Guess that's why I don't do many..LOL.....I think it's great and I'm sure it'll only get better..Good show!

Looks pretty darn good to me, too! How 'bout a closer pic? It's definitely better than I can do, especially considering you did it freehand with an ordinary brush!
