So as some of you know I just bought a new AB and I didn't have a stand for it. Instead of buying one I looked around my room and found something that worked!! LOL laugh at me all you want but it works!

Its a CD tray that used to have blank CD's in it. Cut a notch on the rim and a hole in the top. Wrapped it all in tape so it didnt scratch my brand spankin new AB and put some loose change in the bottom to add some weight to it. Ingenious huh? HAHA

Instead of coins for weight, and if the cd case was sealed good at the bottom I was thinking you could put some type of cleaning solution in it and every time you put the gun back in, the tip would be clean from dry tips. Add some paint storage on top.

Great idea. It doesn't look like you got much "money" in it. Yuk, yuk. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Does this stand still work for you when you have the hose hooked up to the airbrush?
I can just see that whole thing doing a flip onto the floor, and dumping your airbrush and all your change all over the place.
I would definitely add more ballast to the container.
As far as putting the cleaner in there, nah, it would evaporate and leave you with gunk you could no longer get at because your container is sealed up at the bottom.
Good luck on the designing end though, it never hurts to keep your mind and imagination busy.

Last but not least...is it marketable??? WOOHOO I see huge profits...LOL!! Cool Idea man. Me I'm worse off I got two dry wall screws covered in tape stuck in the wall that I set my AB when I need to...whatever works..
