Welcome
What's up man!!! Great to see you here. I remember back when I was in signs, seeing your work in a sign magazine, and being inspired airbrush fulltime!! Your stuff was right along with the infamous Lavallee with one of his first fire jobs on a red PT. I remember seeing your jungle bike
you do some amazing work!!!!
this is a great forum (little bit of everything)

Rod First welcome, You should fit right in. GREAT work onthe gate. I have a question on the lettering. Is the base ground metal to get the engine turnned look or some other technique? If it is another technique could you explain how it was done ?
Thanks
Tim

Hi moose, no its not gound metal its just "lense" vinyl and I candy'd over it. looks cool huh, and easy to do. bang for ya buck.
I've included a couple differend jobs i've done simular to. I've also done it over ALSA chrome but is WAY too much buggerizing arround.
cheers!

Rod,
Thanks I will have to try to find a supplier for that stuff. It would be neat for background panels to pinstripe.

It was a good giggle, I know Ticks personally, it was just to see finger painter next to his name mate.
Ticks is one of a handfull of guys who has the Australian airbrushing market by the ballz and is fairly well known over there too.. someone I aspire to be like (sorry for the ass kissing Rod) and I'm sure you'll see some special stuff from him... when he has the time to post that is.

Hi there again folks. Hey there Adam , hows adelaide this week? :) I'll be back down there next week to hit the beach with family) but have heaps on the plate coming up in Adelaide.
Ambo, geese man you get around as much as i do hehehe I see your back into it, good stuff mate. We'll catch up again for a beer soon huh.
Airtodd and steelhorse, thanks for the welcome and depending on where i am and which computer i'm on i'll try to show some stuff and hopefully help if i can. sure looks like a good spot to hang out and chat to fellow addicts.
Hi Brett, I was up on the gold coast last school holidays, looks like airbrushing has really taken off up there since i was last there which is great. Are you getting a lot of work up there and what do ya mainly do? Theres some great airbrush artists up on the sunshine coast too.
Cheers for now!

Do you know the monster truck from Michigan called "little miss dangerous"? I did there transported in 2005 while in minnesota at a sign/airbrush meet. those guys were great, i evan got to drive the monster truck up thru the small town... what a rush!!

Hey bud, sorry to hear about ya dramas (hard to work those women out huh) :) I'm a little laid up at the moment as i ripped a calf muscle monday night so its very hard to do little when i got lots on my plate but work just isnt the main priority right now. (although i'm getting a lot of computer work done which normally just waists my time) you know the normal stuff like photoshopping my next airbrush jobs for approval and layouts, logos etc for up coming jobs, stuff i normally just do on the spot now are getting more concideration and planning.
I suppose you heard i'm trying to sell my sign shop business here, yep got other fish to fry (if I can get someone in here that is)
Catch ya on the streets!
Rod
hadn't heard bout the shop... Why the sell up? you still gonna be based up here?? dunno.. maybe we should talk???

Hey Rod, we have spoken a few times but never caught up face to face. One day I guess. Thought you might be at the extreme horsepower show but I didnt c u there. Your knocking out some killer work.
Hey Ambo, sorry to hear about that news, airbrush is some good therapy though, use it all the time man. Works for me. ADAIR, Adam Thomason

Hi Adam, (ADAIR) yeah i thought your name sounded familula, I spend heaps of time in Adelaide these days. Was suppose to do the extreme horsepower show again this year but for a few different reasons it didnt happen. I was to have one of the new towtrucks there along with a drag car etc.
Ambo, yeah mate if your wanting too get into this industry fulltime i can give ya a huge head start (by buying my business) but only if your serious about it ,then i could tell ya more.
I'll be back at work tomorrow, i'm sure ya can find my numbers.
Cheers!
