I used my Mack "the Virus" 444-1 at this and If you see something jsut horrifible or very good old misstakes, or even if you like it a lot, donīt be afraid to let me know what you think or maybe what I should try next time Tips and tricks are always welcome here at ny place...I`m here for learning, get feedback and a hope to be bether as soon as possible (and ofcourse, I have to work hard to), find inspiration from good stripers hanging around here I love the honest feedback as long as itīs honest and not rude...! I can take it!

I think the Mack Virus 444-1 was a bit too thin and short for this projekt.. but a part of the learning curve I guess

Good question.. I started just for fun on a soft plastic book cover.. the problem is that I have used 1-shot striping paint without any reducer, so I guess clearing it could be a problem... hmm.. :-) leaf without clear on a book cover.. ops.. I did it mostly for practise tho :-)

You should be all right clearing this with a clear enamel in a rattle can, the only question I would have would be whether the striping is dry before applying the clear.
I know this was for fun, but you may as well use this as a learning tool for doing the clears, golds and enamels in combination too.

I didnīt mix the 1-shot with anything so isnīt there a chance that the clear will crack? Iīm going to try and see what happens.. I think I read somewhere that 1-shot sould be cleared within 3 houres or after 12 houres for best result.. you know anything about that? :-)

Good show 276!!!...I really like the overall feel of that.

Far as clearing 1shot..I was always under the impression you need to add catalyst to the 1shot 1st...Then it's safe to clear...but since it's to late for that and it's only practice..I'd give er hell...try some things, ....Good luck!

I was told that if clearing useing a urethane clear use a drop of hardner from your clear to prevent wrinkles of lifting but i am to chicken to try it myself so i just pinstrip ontop of my clearcoat.

Yeah the 1-Shot needs to cure a day or so before clear...1-Shot does have it's own clears to go over 1-Shot striping and leaf.....

Nice Work CCM !!!

Thanks a lot Jimmy, do you remember what the 1-shot clear code is? :-) Hopefully I`ll be able to get it in Norway as well :-)
