hey all
well my O.C.D. kicked in again lol..i have obsessing about real fire ...went to the hobby shop ordered the mike lavallee dvd (wont have it for possibly 2 more weeks..argggggggg) so i splunked the interent and using blind dogs colour squence (though i had to improvise with createx for now) took another run at it..well its getting better i think :confused:
this has 3 different layers and yes the pink colour was a screw up didnt have any pic for colour reference ...anyhoo i didnt notice the layers till i hit it with a can of spray lacquer ...i have an idea where i made mistakes which is cool i believe it was the third layer i totally botched the flow of the flames and made it too over bearing over the other 2 layers (and the colour was too thick)
all comments good bad or indifferent are as always welcomed

Woah, I'd stay a few feet away from that because it looks HOT!

Very nice, I know little to nothing about this kind of thing, but from my newbie view, this looks amazing.

I can almost feel the heat coming off of it. Looks nice and smooth to me.

But hey, I am just a newbie. ^_^

hey man nice try but if ya get the dvd and no hok, aa, or etac your not going to have that result of fire but here is an ok recipe for fire wit createx start out black base, white first layer spray transparent red a couple coats until it looks deep red, then spray yellow and tighten up the lines, then spray the transparent red over the yellow then go back in with yellow and hit the hot spots then take your white and yellow mix a little hit the hot spots just to blend it then after all that go back with black and do some erasing
