Folks I am looking for input here, to see if others are interested in participating. I was thinking of starting a weekly "end of the weekend" show, everyone would be encouraged to put up what they did artwise over the previous week. I mentioned this to our host, Steven Craig, and he seemed to like the idea. I realize many of us cannot put something up every week, but come and hang out, comment, enjoy and put up whatever you feel like. Might be a digital pic, a sketch you are working on, an idea for your next project that might benefit from input, an artistic encounter during the week.......

Let me know your thoughts and I will try to see if we are a big enough group to start something like this, could be a lot of fun! Even the day of the week is open for input, just thinking that there are a lot of weekend warriors on here, so Sunday evening seems logical.

Thanks for viewing, your thoughts are appreciated, even if this doesn't fly.....

I'd be down with that, as long as I get to post before Luc. :) So what do we post all week then??:)

Clinton, Theu the week keep posting your great step by steps and answering our many newbie questions!!!!!
What Scott is proposing I think is a weekly reason to post exampl;es of our work. It is a way to encourage everyone to post for others enjoyment. Also a good reason to paint weekly. I an game. Some weeks I will put up striping practice panels other times airbrushing practice stuff. It will be interesting to watch everyones progress.

It certainly sounds good to me, although it feels like for the past four weeks I'd have been putting up pretty much identical photos, the amount of progress I've been making on this darn jetski :(

I'll be having a big celebration when it's done, that's for sure. Maybe next week?

All the best

Don't know that I can post something every week but I can point and giggle. Maybe put up a different color X on a paper towel each week.

Clem, you don't HAVE to post each week, if you have something on the go, a WIP or whatever, sure, but if not, its just a gallery share, to come see what folks are up to. If you do something every couple of months, thats fine, no pressure here, just a place to gather and look at what folks are working on or have finished that week.

Lets give it a whirl tomorrow, roughly 6 p.m. central, I'll start it off. I guess I better get busy, haven't painted since that dumb T-shirt, LOL...

Okey, we'll give it a whirl, right here tomorrow evening, starting at roughly 6 p.m. central time.... you can post all week if you want, have fun, its just a sharing exercise....

If you've already posted something this week, feel free to repost it here as part of the weekly gallery, so folks can look through the weeks work.

OK folks, looks like Steven and Denise have made us a Brand New Section just for the Sunday art show! The idea is to have a virtual gallery, drop by and post what work (finished or in progress) you have done lately. For the first week, feel free to post anything you've done lately, there is a lot of really fun work posted on here every week, from top professionals to first timers, but all of it is worth enjoying!

The gallery is a place where we can gather and enjoy the work, while exchanging ideas and future projects. If you have no work to post, drop on by and say hello, review the art and let us know what you are working on that we might see in the future. No rules, just an art show setting. So come on by, anytime this evening, and I will be on at six to open the bar, and turn on the music...... see you at the Sunday Art & Kustom show. The Showroom is just a few doors down! vvvvvv
