Hey everyone!
My friend Colourshift told me about this site and I've got to say, I'm really impressed. Lots of friendly people, and good info !
I've been airbrushing since 1978 when I was working with an animator, (hand painting cels ...yikes! ) for local tv programs. She used an airbrush to tone backgrounds and I swear, music went off in my head when I saw that airbrush.
Didn't know what it was, just knew I had to have one......ok, many more than one by now:wink2: :wink2: :wink2: :devil2: :devil2:
I paint on motorcycles to guitars and everything in between.
I want to get back to doing fine art on canvas, too.
Anyway, I'm really happy to be here!
thanks all !

Ok, hmmm, here's a pic of a shirt that I just did....although I ended up going back and bringing up more contrast in my pup (devil dog!)
Kona is my Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler)
So, this isn't the final shot (yes, I'll have to take another pic!:wink2: ) but it's the latest........createx on cotton T

Was that a hint Saint (ha) (- about the walking billboard ??? I'm sorry, every time I see or wrote Saint I have to giggle. Honey, I think you were a redhead in another life.
What a fabulous idea.!!! And here's me with all this createx and PermAir sittin around....and time on my hands.
That shirt looks incredible. I absolutely love it..the framing and everything.
You're an inspiration to me, truly.
Oh, learned something else yesterday....
Just following AutoAir's guide of only 25 percent reducer is so not working for me with certain paint colours. They don't lay down, no masking short of 3M green tape will stick to it...but I have seen the light! my sister. I reduce it further....pushing it's limits, persay. When I last spoke to Blake (mcCully), he does exactly that...lays it way thinner than the recommended.
Also, pot life of 24 hours, isn't exactly true either (for reduced AA)...Simon Evans was experimenting with it, keeping the mixed AA...and messing with it every few days or so...it was at a week and still good when last we spoke.
Welcome to the board, hope you enjoy it here.
