Good nuff place for this I think:)
Sooo had this Prob with my AB, brought it up in a thread and Josee hopped right on the prob for me....I just got my replacement part today...Soo I guess that was about a week or less....Talk about some spiffy service!...I'm tickled silly over the way it went down.
I took a pic of the new body compared to the old..mainly the part number is the only diff..But I have already noticed lil things that are better in this new body..
There is an O-ring that stays in the body and seals the cup..My old one was crushed and tore apart after a week of use...Just hand tightening..The O-ring never fit right, always got smashed in the threads..I have used it with no seal and no probs for months....Anyway, the new body has a new seal there, and it fits like a glove...So it's cool to have whether I need it or not:)
The main seal deep in the middle of the body was included too...I put a drop of lube on my needle and gotter working smooth like in there....This seal feels like it's waaay more tight than the old..Tiz brand new and may change soon..I don't recall it ever feeling that snug though..in a good way..Nobody likes a sloppy seal, right?:rotflmao:
haven't tried it out yet, Still outta primer..Might have to paint on a shirt just for shiggles..hehe!
Soooo for my book of the day...I wanna thank Josee once again for being so helpful and all around great Gal..Thanks to the guy from Florida that sent my body with no "if's, ands or buts"..LOL....(That's where the addy says anyway)
I was wondering Josee, If I wanted to order needles and such, would that be the guy to contact??...Can't beat service and shipping like that, and he's obviously got parts on hand..Hahaha!

Bryon, Hey just so you know and maybe I missed something somewhere, but I bought my Infinity from Chicago airbrush and they do list numerous parts for the Infinity's on their website, not sure about the body parts but I do know they sell needles and nozzles. Just throwing this out there in case you ever need an alternative.

So Josée the (Hot) :flames: Infinity dealer! Is it more expensive to buy Infinity parts from you because you live in the better Northern part of the North American Continent or someone here in the U.S. ?? Of course if you always smile and wink its worth a little extra!

If I got ya right Robert? Yeah Our dollar is less than theirs, (or was anyway) soo it would be more $$ to buy from her..But ya can't beat dealing with a friend compared to a big company..I'd rather give her the biz anyday:)
She's only a few hours away also:D

Out of interest how much is the infinty over there. here the 2 in 1 version with the .15mm and .4mm nozzles with the 2 and 5ml cups is approx £180, which is near enough $360 US.

mine is number 1455 never had a problem with seals but had to modify the trigger as the tensioner doesnt work too well on them due to the new designed triggers and they can be prone to sticking
i found this out by putting an evolution trigger into it to see what the problem was WOW what a big difference the older evo triggers are slimmer and have a round profile which doesnt interfere with the chucking mechanism like the flat backed original and the tension adjuster works far better ,if anyone has noticed it makes little difference when you adjust the tension on these which baffled me for a while
as i wanted to keep the originel looks i rounded off the infinity trigger to match the evo ,worked like a dream
if anyone has both an evolution and an infinity try swopping the trigger you will be amazed
by the way there is no difference between the focus the evolution and the infinity bodies just the name on the side ,all parts fit all brushes
all set ups are interchangable so you can buy a focus and upgrade it to a fine line 0.15 just by changing the set up
ok you wont have the back stop or tensioner and no fancy gold and red anodiseing but it will spray exactly the same as the top model fine line Infinity you could even buy the other parts and make into an infinty
paul
My trigger felt like it had play in it at 1st...I eventually cranked up the tension and it corrected itself (Least to the point of not bothering me)....I also noticed the threads that allow you to adjust the spring tension, there was a bit of play in there..I used Teflon tape on the threads and it helped much:)

i got mine from chicago genesis art supplies who also trade as chicago airbrush for £110 inc postage but before i even recieved mine H&S stopped US distributors from selling in Europe due to german traders complaining .as my sale was before the ban i got mine and i can still get spares due to being an existing customer ,others have tried in the uk but cant even buy a needle from the states
you will not get one officialy from the states unless some one buys it privatly for you then posts it to you
chicago will break a neck when it comes to service they will order in any parts direct from H&S and usualy within a week or so postage is reasonable and they also sell iwata and other brands that they can export

many thanks my man might just do that, have to see if it would be worth looking at after postage and the dreaded import tax.
