I,m new here & what a great choice of topic,s here . My Question is I bought a commercial Quincy 5 hp upright 80 gallon tank about a year ago, perty pricey, & It,s due for an oil change I called the people I bought it from & They said They sell the Speacial oil it tales in 6 oz bottles I beleive for $24.95 per bottle & said it would take almost 4 full bottles to fill it.

I Guess You know the question . Doe,s it take this special oil Which I would have to think is made out of blood from a virgin ? Or can any other oil be substituted at a more reasonable price ? Like penzoil or even synthetics of some kind ? Thanks for any advice. I,m not really concerned with the warranty as it,s probably expired anyway. Cowboy

Thanks. I,ll have the Wife check as I,m a hermit I guess You,d say & haven,t left My property for a year or so.

By the Way I read Your how to on the fiberglass flares, & Sure wished I would have seen that a few Years back When I had to repair an old Starbird custom ( 70 elcamino ) That Were bondo flares. I had to do it from scratch on a new fender & That sure would have saved Me some grief.

The biggest problem I had was I had to torch the front spring to lower that side because I built it out of glass & the other side was still bondo. Go Figur. Great info. Thanks again .Cowboy
