Wax and grease remover

What can i use on a motorcycle helmet....ill be using auto air paint...can i use 50% alcool because i didnt find anything in my local autopart shop that is good for water base paint....

I always used mineral spirits when working with AutoAir....even wet sanded with it rather than water.....it was cheap and it worked for me

ok and it doesnt damage your water base coat??? its not a strong solvent???

I've always just hit it with straight 70% alchohol,,,
wipe it down,, sand it,, wipe it down again,, spray !!!

Simple green concentrate mixed 50/50 with water works great....wipe it down with that, and then again with plain water.

I've used Mineral spirits too... both work.
