I'll even start it off,,,,,
not AB,, but,, well,, it's what I do,,,
this is a replacement entry sign for the city,,,
seems a pick-up truck done the old one in,, bad,,
and since my compressor (big one) still is'nt wired,,
this is all handwork (chisel type) so bear with me,,,
I just do a bit here 'n there on it at a time,, so,,
this is where it's at for now,,,,,
this is HDU 15 lb signfoam for them that keep records
and will be painted when done,, measures 4'x8' !!!
Since this is carved instead of sandblasted,, I'm trying
to use texture to seperate the different parts on the
graphic,, this is still just being ruffed in,, so far from
done,, the green tint is from sandpaper for smoothing
nontextured areas,, in case you wondered,, well,, anyway,,,

this is another of the ones existing of 4 located
on entry to our fare city,, well 3 anyway,, 4 when

The term "Sign-foam" sounds like a product that'd be easy to hand carve......Is it easy....or is alot tougher than I might think?

That is soooo nifty! Can I come watch????????? Man I'd love to try that!

I wanted to do some wood carving to the borders of our hardwood floors before we refinish them someday! My wife said absolutely not! :cry: She did ok some other ideas I had for the hall and 3 bedrooms & bathroom at the end of the hall! We have an archway where the hall starts! On the living room side just paint the arch to the floor to look like a wooden arch & the hall side also! Paint a garden scene all the way down the hall to the bedrooms and bath room! Custom make thin split doors and screen doors for the rooms! With that and the paint make them look like a cluster of cottages!

Oh Yea! All the posts are showing great!

These are for the "final four paint off" at AB.com. I started painting the chic and on the last day of painting she fell of the table and ended up with a scuff mark accross her chest. It was bad enough I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I flipped the tag over and painted the male pinup. He is who I was going to paint to begin with so I guess it is as it should be. lol

I think you did an excellent job on this. I am sorry for what happened. Your piece that you cranked out in the last minute looks great though. FINALLY, a male pin up! :wink2:

cheers CDM, the wheels took me about 10 hours & a sore arm but it has made a big difference to the bike, next is to get it into some shows.........:party-smiley-052:

Wow, some really cool artwork happening this week. I just started a Van Helsing project last week after watching the movie. It's not an original design even though I'm changing it in a few minor places. I already have most of Dracula completed, but still need to take pics...sorry!
