hey all
well after all the great information i got from the last attempt and bdogs thread ---which are both excellent reads might i add.
i folded up my first attempt and put it away and tried again ..i kept the same image and had to be a hairstylist and a adding some colths from another pic...
its by no means done at all ...but i am happy with it so far
all comments on which direction to take are welcomed
thanks and god bless

Ron, looking good! First thing I am finding is, go really slow, a tiny bit of tint at a time. I am fighting my impatience to make quicker progress, but it seems to be paying off. Slow buildup of highlights, try to leave the shadows, spraying black to knock down the shadows doesn't work as well. Keep up the good progress!

oh my god!
thanks for a key tip i havent added any tint as i went ...LMFAO...jesus i missed that part ,,,you wouldnt happen to know what kind of tint as i am still laughing at my dumb ass self over here
i was just building white (dilouted that is ) on white upon white....i was wondering why mine didnt have any noticable chabnge to it (except the fact it still out and inch or so...lol) is it blue???? would love to have the masters luke and cliton chime in i know we have went to well many times for advice ...but hey you have to ask the masters when you need the get on the right track. and i did use trans dark brown a few layers on it but it went too copperish ...but i do like the tone of it as it is a black suit and black on black dont look so good
please SOS
thanks ron

I like your attitude shown in this thread title, never give up. I think the clothes are really well done. Also, I think your first attempt is very expressive and dramatic. Eyes are a little too blue perhaps but I love the serious look and also the hair. She really looks pissed and more importantly, very cool.

You put new photos in! This is looking really good. I'd say your doing pretty well for a new hairstylist. Did you cut up your last one to put them side by side?
Never say Die
hi
no i didnt cut the shirt up ...lol the wife would kill me ! and last thing i would want is wee pissed irish woman..YIKES!
actaully i told her (after the elvis one i did re;new thread) that i would just hang them up after wearing them once because there art...she replied "your going to art yourself into having no shirts left to wear! ..man i busted a gut laughing
btw thanks you helped me along alot with this...i took your advice on the eyes there is grey and 2 tones of blue in them and i hit the hair with browns and blue (i know the pic dosent show it) i need to be able to take better pictures with my camera
thats why people are raving about this site !!! a great place to help beginnners out ..ya gotta love it ! i know i sure do
thanks ron
