Hi,
Just curious to see the number of people who airbrush on diecast.?. I have been doing it now for about 4 years. I do mainly pinups on them all scale diecast. Mainly HotWheels and Matchbox. My main influence for the pinups is Olivia. I also airbrush Ostrich Eggs (no pinups on the eggs). I have a couple already done.

WOW...How did I miss this post??

Cool dude!

Yes, I have painted many, many toys and quite a few Hot Wheels.

I am gonna dig out some pics right now! and post 'em.

I wish you could see the clear coat on this bus!! After I painted it, I took it to work to clear it. (I was working for a Hockey helmet manufacturer painting NHL helmets) anyway, I got the tub of left over clear (after the helmets were sprayed) and it was just starting to thicken!! ...so I held the bus body over the garbage and we carefully poured the setting clear coat all over it and it dried about 1/8" thick!

Had to bring them over Dave. Good work here. I go back and look at these every once in a while to remind myself that there is a way to do detail without everything being blown out by air pressure.

I imagine a lot of folks will hit this area in time to come.
