nick name under our names?

Just wanted to know whats up with the nick names the show under our names? Do they change with time or the amount of replies or are we allowed to change them ourselves?

It's just categories specifically related to your number of posts or "post count".....

I think its funny that I asked that at 49 and 50 was the change.lol I didnt even plan that.
