For something different, try making your own ink:

I'm with Neil... the conconction that the site whips up MAYgo UNDER skin just fine....

But it won't stick to skin. There's lot's o things in cosmetics that make them stick to skin.

I'm gonna soap box and say that as mature, professional adult, we are the one accepting the risk and liability of placing non-FDA skin approved cosmetics on a client.

It is possible to react to acrylics and fabric paints and a host of other Non-Toxic products. Non-Toxic only says that a product won't kill you if you drink it. These products were not intended or manufactured for long term skin exposure. The manufacturers are not likely going to tell you in writing that it is "ok" to put their products on skin with the intended purpose of being a temp tat or body art.

Since I have a related question, I figured I'd just hi-jack this thread instead of starting a whole new one.
First, how far does this piank/ink go? Or, more specifically, if you were planning on doing a small booth at some smaller gatherings, how much would make sure to have on hand so you don't run out?
Second, I imagine black would be a color you go through alot of, but what other colors do you go through fastest?
And last but not least, for simple stencil-type tatoos, about how much do you charge (ballpark figure in fine).

I'm going to be at a bunch of car and motorcycle shows over the summer trying to get business for myself on motorcycles, etc, but I figured this might be a good way to recoup some of my expanses and possibly even make a little $$$. Lord knows I have enough airbrushes, and a fairly "portable" compressor ( it doesn't quite give you a hernia), so I'm thinking all I'd really need is the paint/ink itself.
I figure I'll make a couple dozen fairly simple designs and use my plotter to cut the stencils from mylar (if I can, i have to double check that), and use some Crescent board I have laying around for a display.

Has anyone heard of or tried the "duratat" ink from tatstore.com.
Its about time to replenish my stock and i was looking for some reviews from people other than on the forum attached to the store :)
