Well, artists, thanks so much for making the second Sunday Art & Kustom show a success. There was a great variety of styles and media, and that's what makes this diverse group so great. We look forward to seeing you here next weekend, with something from your archives, or something new you have finished or are working on. Thanks all!

ABD, I am the proud owner of one of Tim's roses. They are incredible, true works of art. Mrs Blinddog found a perfect raku bud vase and it looks awesome. I will try to take a pic tonight.
Moose, nice work again!

OSH! Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting to the Art & Kustom show! This is just a weekly place to show your work, an artists' archive so to speak. Love your avatar by the way!
I'll post a recent try of Steven Craig's gearmess. I acknowledge it is a rushed try, but this is for those that are new here. You folks ought to try it, its a lot of fun. I'm creating a new piece using it as the border, and its looking good. Anyway, my first gearmess try.

All right, that's it, I'm not posting Jack until Luc gets that door done. Great job man....outstanding. Doom? is it?
What are you going to put over this when you're done? Mat, or semi gloss varnish? I'm assuming you're using airbrush acrylics. Holbien? Sorry, I can't recall. Please tell me you used a stencil for the lettering and numbers.
Love the distressed look....I can't get over this, what a fantastic door. You're son must be over the moon, or are you keeping it a secret?

Thank you all!!
I put a coat of Krylon gloss finish over it. Yes I'm using acrylic paints from Createx and Auto Air for the door handle and the metakic paint for the main door background. All numbers on keypad are done by hand with a permanent marker but all the other text I took from my PC, printed to proper scale, cut then used it as a stencil.
My son loves it for sure. I wanted to get him involved in the details aspect of it but I kind of lost him in the process! I think I even got lost myself at one point!!! LOL
Thanks again.

Gah, thank goodness...I had visions of you meticulously rendering the numbers with a steady hand...and well, I can't do that. Not even on a good day. He should be sooooo proud (your son).
Looks good Luc, don't know what else to say.
Thanks for the posts,
Clem

LOL, Lynn, I hope you deleted because you wanted to include a posted pic. Conversation is welcome in here, no need to delete! (although it does give me a chance to use my meager Moderator tools and restore it). I won't, promise.

Thanks...it was the same eagle head in both, I did a new body for the client, and it was edited in photoshop for the new print.
No new works, at least nothing like that....I'll be posting the flag work I did next week, once I pick up the tank from the shop.
Feeling...unmotivated for new works at the moment...I need a swift kick in the ass, I tell ya.
